Producer, director, manager and pedagogue, co-founder in 1992 of the Teatre Tantarantana, which has remained active until the present day. Since 2017, with the purchase of the Tantarantana building by the Icub, it has been part of the Barcelona City Council’s creation funds. During these 29 years, he has carried out the tasks of artistic direction of the theatre’s programme until 2018 and during this period he has been in charge of the production and/or co-productions of Teatre Tantarantana (some 65). He is currently an advisor to the artistic direction of Tantarantana, he is also in charge of international projects and in 2012, together with Constanza Brncic and Albert Tola, he created the Pi(è)ce project, which has since then been part of the Teatre’s Culture and Community Programme.
He has also collaborated with the Xarxa de Teatres Alternatius d’Espanya (of which Tantarantana has been a member since 1983), holding the presidency between 2004 and 2008; as well as with the Associació d’Empreses de Teatre de Catalunya (Adetca) of which he was a member of the board of directors for 8 years. As a teacher, he has worked as a professor of dramatic expression in the Postgraduate Course organised by the Escola d’Expressió i Comunicació, Carmen Aymerich de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona. He also participated in the creation of the Arteràpia course organised by the Associació d’Expressió i de Comunicació de Barcelona, teaching the dramaturgy workshop.
